NiloCheeni Rice Kheer
Ingredients:
1 cup Basmati rice
1 liter Milk (full-fat or low-fat)
1/4 cup NiloCheeni sweetener (or to taste)
1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
1/4 tsp Saffron (optional)
Chopped nuts and dried fruits for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 30 minutes.
- In a heavy-bottomed pan, bring the milk to a boil.
- Drain the rice and add it to the boiling milk. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the rice is cooked and the milk thickens.
- Add NiloCheeni sweetener, cardamom powder, and saffron (if using). Adjust sweetness to your preference.
- Continue to simmer for another 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the desired consistency is reached.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Garnish with chopped nuts and dried fruits (if using) and serve chilled or warm.
